James is a Counsel on the London Antitrust team, and advises clients on EU, UK and multijurisdictional merger control, foreign direct investment and EU foreign subsidies strategy and filings. James has acted for leading private equity firms, financial institutions, sovereign wealth funds, and multinational corporations in matters before the European Commission, UK Competition and Markets Authority and global antitrust and foreign direct investment agencies.

  • Accenture on its $830 million disposal of Navitaire to Amadeus.

    • its acquisition of Kelvion, a German provider of energy efficient heat exchange and cooling solutions, from funds advised by Triton;
    • its $6.3 billion acquisition of International Game Technology’s gaming and digital business IGT Gaming and Everi Holdings;
    • the merger of Evri and DHL eCommerce, the e-commerce logistics specialist of DHL Group;
    • the £1.83 billion acquisition by ABC Technologies of TI Fluid Systems;

    • its acquisition of Hav Energy, a Norway-based maritime liquefied natural gas carrier infrastructure platform;
