Sam Kleiner Discusses Global Trade Compliance at ABA Conference

Litigation counsel Sam Kleiner participated in a panel, “From Legal Gatekeeper to Strategic Navigator: The General Counsel’s Expanding Role in Global Trade Compliance,” as part of the American Bar Association’s International Law Section Annual Conference. The panel, which took place in New York City on April 30, explored the evolution of the general counsel from legal advisor to strategic partner, and discussed how GCs are engaging in cross-functional collaboration between legal, supply chain and operations teams to embed compliance into corporate culture.
