Henrik Morch to Discuss Political and Policy Pressures on Merger Control at 2025 Global Merger Control Forum

Antitrust partner Henrik Morch will participate in a panel, “Discussing the Political and Policy Pressures Shaping Merger Control,” as part of ThoughtLeaders4 Competition’s Global Merger Control Forum 2025. The panel will cover balancing competition and growth amid geo-strategic rivalries; understanding the Draghi Report on EU competitiveness, new European Commission competition mandates and the Commission’s merger regime overhaul plans; and navigating the impact of industrial policy on merger control.

The Global Merger Control Forum brings together key regulatory stakeholders, members of the judiciary, in-house counsel, economists, private practitioners and barristers to explore the evolving practical, political and technical challenges of the global merger control landscape.

The panel will take place in Brussels on May 15 at 11:20 a.m. CEST/5:20 a.m. ET.
