Law.com International interviewed Global M&A Co-Head Angelo Bonvino for an article highlighting a recent increase in high-value cross-border deals in Europe. In "European Deal Round-up: Freshfields, Paul, Weiss Lead on Multi-Billion-Euro Deal," published on June 28, Angelo commented on factors driving increased M&A activity. "It seems like the market is opening up," Angelo says. "The debt market is open and there is a lot of dry powder to spend."
The article noted Paul, Weiss's role advising KPS Capital Partners and its portfolio company Eviosys on the €3.615 billion sale of Eviosys to Sonoco Products Co.
