Founders of Blue Man Group Lease Off-Broadway Theater to Entertainment Venture

Paul, Weiss advised Colonnade Brigade LLC, an entity owned by the founders of performance art company Blue Man Group, in a long-term lease of the historic Astor Place Theatre to No Guarantees Productions, a Tony Award-winning theatrical production company.
The property, located at 432-434 Lafayette Street in Noho, housed Blue Man Group performances for 34 years before the show ended its run earlier this year. As , the new tenant intends to stage a variety of plays and musicals in the performance space and to utilize the adjacent restaurant and event areas.
The Paul, Weiss team includes real estate partner Harris Freidus and counsel Barry Langman, and executive compensation counsel Bruce Goldberger.
