�鶹��Ƶ Department Chair Scott Barshay was featured in Bloomberg Law’s coverage of Tulane University Law School’s 37th Annual �鶹��Ƶ Law Institute, where he discusses the current M&A market and the dealmaking forecast for the rest of 2025. “There’s a lack of predictability right now,” Scott says. “Our clients are kind of waiting and seeing right now to see how things sort out.”

Although this year’s M&A market has been slow, Scott says there’s still a lot of interest in doing deals. He also expects the year to end on a positive note. “There’s just a little bit of a pause, but I don’t think it’s a lot of pause,” Scott says. “I think we’re going to see over the next few weeks announcements of some bigger deals.”
