�鶹��Ƶ partner Scott Barshay and litigation partner Andrew Gordon will participate in panel discussions as part of Tulane University Law School’s 34th Annual �鶹��Ƶ Law Institute program. Scott will participate in “Hot Topics in M&A Practice,” with Ted Yu, chief of mergers & acquisitions in the SEC’s Division of �鶹��Ƶ Finance, among others. The panelists will provide insights into 2022 dealmaking trends, including proxy contests, take privates, SPAC market developments, carveouts and mega-deals. Andrew will participate in “Delaware Developments During COVID and Challenges to Closing the Deal,” with Vice Chancellor Paul Fioravanti of the Delaware Court of Chancery, among others. The panelists will discuss the impact COVID-19 has had upon dealmaking, including developments in Delaware courts and the evolving language in purchase agreements to address challenges to closing a deal.

The program will be held March 17 and 18 at the Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana, with the option of virtual attendance. Scott’s panel will be held March 17 at 10:15 a.m. ET, and Andrew’s panel will be held March 18 at 12:45 p.m. ET.
