In a deal uniting two of the New York region’s iconic grocery chains, Paul, Weiss is representing Tops Markets in its merger with Price Chopper/Market 32. Tops Markets operates 162 grocery stores that employ 14,000 across New York, Pennsylvania and Vermont; Price Chopper/Market 32 operates 130 grocery stores and employees 18,000 across the region. Terms of the transaction were not released.
