Paul, Weiss is advising KPS Capital Partners on the sale of its portfolio company Hussey Copper to International Wire Group, a leading manufacturer of copper and copper-alloy wire products in the United States. Hussey, which KPS bought in 2020, is a leading North American processor and fabricator of copper products used in electrical infrastructure, data center, power generation and industrial applications. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2025, subject to customary closing conditions and approvals.
